The announcement concerns the assistant version for Android and iOS mobile systems. The Microsoft service will not be available from January 31 in the UK, Canada and Australia. On the group's website we can read the following information:
"To make your personal assistant as helpful as possible, we've decided to integrate Cortana with Microsoft 365 applications. As part of this step, on January 31, 2020, we're ending support for Cortana for Android and iOS. After this day, the content you create (reminders and lists) will no longer work in the mobile application. However, it will still be available through Cortana on Windows. In addition, Cortana reminders, lists and tasks are automatically synced with the To-Do service, which you can download to your phone for free. "
Will Microsoft's decision also cover other markets? It is difficult to say because the giant from Redmond has not yet published a similar note on Microsoft sites for other regions.
