Huawei is fighting for European customers.

Last week Huawei launched the "new" smartphone on the British market – Huawei P30 Lite New Edition. Of course, this is a refreshed version of the popular medium, which originally debuted in 2019, and in May we tested him on our website.

Due to US sanctions and lack of access to many technologies, Huawei must use various tricks to continue to sell its smartphones in Europe. The simplest procedure is to refresh older models that have previously received the appropriate certificate so they can still use Google services.

Huawei P30 Lite New Edition is equipped with software EMUI 9.1 based on the system Android 9 from Google Mobile Services and pre-installed Google applications. Importantly, the company can update this model to EMUI 10 soon.

There are few changes in the construction itself. The manufacturer focused on memory, the new version is available in the version with 6 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory while the 2019 model offered 4 GB + 128 GB.

The P30 Lite model is equipped 6.15-inch LTPS screen with a resolution of 2312×1080 pixels. The whole is powered by an 8-core processor Kirin 710 and it is exactly the same chip as in the much cheaper Huawei P Smart 2019. Huawei claims that the 48MP (f / 1.8) camera used in the discussed model is "the most powerful lens in the middle price range". The main lens is supported by two additional – wide-angle 8MP (f / 2.4) and Bokeh 2MP (f / 2.4). A 24MP selfie webcam was used on the front.

Huawei P30 Lite New Edition will be available in the UK from January 15 for the price of £ 299 selected retailers and operators. It is said that this phone will also appear in other European markets, so there is a good chance that we will see it in Poland.
