Sad news.

We are forced to pass the bad news to fans awaiting the release of DOOM Eternal. When we expected that the process of creating the game was proceeding properly and nothing would prevent its premiere being scheduled – November 20, 2019 – Bethesda announced the postponement of its date.

The new release date of DOOM Eternal is March 20, 2020. It means postponing the deadline by as much as 5 months. Looking at the magnitude of the materials published so far, which were warmly received by the community of players, this is a big surprise. However, the developers of the new shooter claim that they want to refine it better.

"We know that many fans will be disappointed by this delay, but we are sure that DOOM Eternal is a game worth waiting for. To be sure that we will provide absolutely the best gameplay experience, we decided to postpone the release date by several months.", we read in a statement.

By the way, id Software announced that it has announced on Switch retro DOOM 64 will also hit PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Production will be added as a bonus to the pre-purchased DOOM Eternal game, and its premiere will take place in parallel, March 20, 2020.
