Clash of the Titans.

The duel of the Tesla Cybertruck electric car with the iconic Ford F-150 in the US, published some time ago on the network by Elon Musk, was almost universally criticized for dishonest approach. In anticipation of its repetition on slightly more balanced rules, I came across a somewhat more sensible comparison prepared by The Zunigas on YouTube. There, Ford F-150 Raptor and Tesla Model X competed.

Why did I call the new battle more sensible? Elon Musk put out a rather poor version of the Raptor for testing, equipped with rear-wheel drive. Here, the Ford F-150 with 4×4 drive and a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 450 hp and a torque of 510 Nm was selected. Opposite him stood the Tesla Model X P100D with comparable parameters – with two electric motors driving both axes. Power? 503 hp. Torque? About 500 Nm.

Before you watch the video below and draw some conclusions from it, remember that this is not a test in laboratory conditions. In addition, road tires were used in the Tesla Model X, and tires with a tread designed mainly for off-road use in the Ford F-150. What's more, it should be taken into account that the maximum torque in electric cars is available immediately after pressing the accelerator pedal. That's it.
