Three new gaming monitors from the Predator series

At the beginning of January Acer presented 3 new monitors equipped with large displays and a rich set of functions. The range includes the 32-inch (Predator X32), 37.5-inch (Predator X38) and 55-inch (Predator CG552K) models.

55-inch Predator – something for console players

Playing console is inseparably connected with the TV, equipment manufacturers also offer ever larger monitors designed for this type of entertainment. Predator CG552K thanks 55 inch OLED 4K panel (3840 × 2160) should appeal to every Xbox or PlayStation user. The manufacturer informs that the panel offers brightness up to 400 rivets, color reproduction at the Delta E <1 level and coverage of 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color range.

This model supports variable refresh rate (VRR) via HDMI. The Predator CG552K is also compatible with Adaptive Sync technology, ensuring smooth gameplay and making it easier for players to focus on on-screen events. The monitor has a short response time of 0.5 ms thanks to the overdrive function and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Predator CG552K will be available in Poland from the fourth quarter of 2020 year included from usd 11,999.

Predator X38 gaming monitor

Another new feature in Acer's portfolio is the Predator X38 – 37.5-inch display UWQHD (3840 × 1600) equipped with a 2300R panel. The monitor supports the NVIDIA G-SYNC standard, which guarantees extraordinary smooth gameplay. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification ensures excellent brightness, contrast and color range.

Thanks to color reproduction with an accuracy of Delta E <1 and covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, players can create attractive content with realistic colors. Refresh Rate 175 Hz and a 1 ms response time make the Predator X38 monitor suitable for even the most demanding arcade games.

The ergonomic stand increases viewing comfort and allows you to position the monitor in an optimal position: the tilt can be adjusted in the range of -5 to 35 degrees, the rotation by +/– 30 degrees, and the height – in the range of 13 cm. HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors allow the monitor to be connected to many different systems, and four USB 3.0 ports ensure fast communication with peripheral devices. The monitor also has two 7W speakers for high-quality 14-watt audio.

Predator X38 will be available in Poland at the turn of May and June 2020 year included from usd 9,999.

Predator X32 gaming monitor

The latest news is the 32-inch Predator X32 monitor supporting NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate technology. It has a high contrast ratio and supports an extended color palette, thanks to which small details are clearly visible on the screen even in fast action scenes.

The manufacturer informs that the monitor is equipped with an 1152-zone LED panel with local dimming and UHD resolution (3840 × 2160). The Predator X32 is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified and offers brightness up to 1440 nits. 10-bit color and extremely accurate color reproduction (Delta E <1) and coverage of 99% of the AdobeRGB color range and 89.5% of the Rec. 2020 range make it ideal for players who also create their own movies. I also enjoy the high refresh rate, up to 144 Hz.
