Because Polish 5G is not exactly 5G.
And by the way # SamsungGalaxyS20+ # SamsungGalaxyS20Ultra with 5G module. I found out at the source @SamsungPolskathat they will not support 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz in PL. Therefore # 5G on these devices only at the target frequencies 3.4 – 3.8 GHz @olafkrynicki

5G in Poland? Only theoretically
If anyone bought any of the new products in order to check how 5G works in the first Polish cities, it will be a taste. Mentioned devices will detect the 5G network only when in Poland this network will be launched on the frequencies 3.4 – 3.8 GHz. For now, there is infrastructure in our country operating on a modified 4G network, which really … well, is still a 4G network. Is it the fault of the equipment manufacturer or rather of the operators offering "5G" rather than 5G for now?
Regardless of the answer given to the questions given, it should be remembered that in Poland the current "5G" infrastructure can be easily used by users of last year's Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G (it can be bought now at funny money), and soon a new one Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
We recommend that you stop shopping for more expensive smartphones with 5G modems for now. In time, these devices will stop and the network in Poland will develop. Currently, spending extra money for a 5G modem is pointless.
