Back to the past.
The first pictures of the phone that looked almost identical to the original from 2004 saw the light of day. This is obviously purposeful – Motorola Razr is to move consumer sentiment. First thought after seeing the graphics? The smartphone looks really interesting.
It is immediately apparent that Motorola in no way wants to compete with Samsung and Huawei for the title of "the most efficient foldable smartphone on the market." Razr is to be a compact device, comfortable to use and not futuristic. If you're looking for a foldable phone that doesn't look like an invention from sci-fi movies, please welcome the Motorola project.
We'll find out the details already November 13. The company will disclose then "Long-awaited and reinvented project". This date may mean that Motorola wants to release Razr before Christmas, but it is time to wait for an official statement.
What about components? The latest rumors are that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The configuration will be enriched with a 6.2-inch OLED display (folded in half with a special hinge). The secondary screen (the one visible after folding) will of course shrink accordingly – 2.7 inches – and will contain information such as time, date, weather and important notifications.
