Here they are – Google Pixel 4 and his big brother XL

Google Pixel 4 1

Welcome them with applause.

The new smartphone from Google has been loud for at least several months. We didn't see the official announcement until today at a conference in New York. Pixel 4 and his big brother – Pixel 4 XL.

The phones come in three colors – white (Clearly White), black (Just Black) and orange (Oh So Orange; this variant looks even phenomenal). Their premiere will take place on October 24 and unfortunately the availability of devices will be geographically difficult again. Poles must either bring equipment or wait for the movement of one of the stores, and thus – overpay sharply.

Pixel 4 will be equipped with 5.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution, and XL to 6.3-inch screen Quad HD (2880 x 1440). Both models will have a refresh rate of 90 Hz. However, these are not the only common features of smartphones. "Siblings" will hide inside the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 64/128 GB of RAM and 6 GB of RAM.

So what distinguishes Google phones from innovations from other manufacturers? Sensors, sensors and sensors again. The most innovative is supposed to be the equivalent of Face ID. However, he focuses more on himself Motion Sense, i.e. a method of interacting with a smartphone that does not require touching the phone. It uses Google Project Salt technology, about which we have written a little more HERE.

With Motion Sense, you'll be able to control music or reject a call by waving your hand near the phone's display. The function is to be optional – a special switch will be added in the settings to deactivate the sensor.

What about cameras? Their appearance leaves much to be desired and brings to mind the latest iPhones. Users will take pictures using a 12.2-megapixel sensor with a wide angle lens with f / 1.7 brightness and a 16 Mpix telephoto lens. The front camera will take photos with a resolution of 8 Mpix.

Both Pixel 4 and his big brother will not be equipped with a headphone connector. Smartphone prices will start from $ 799 for Pixel 4 with 64 GB of RAM and from $ 899 for Pixel 4 XL with the same data capacity.
