Half-naked models advertise Escobar Fold 1 – a foldable smartphone from Pablo Escobar's brother [wideo]

No, it's not a joke.

Nobody expected such news. Roberto Escobar, brother of the famous drug baron, has just decided improve the mood of all Internet users. He announced that his "own" foldable smartphone – Escobar Fold 1. Serio will hit the market. This device is to be a direct competition for Galaxy Fold and Mate X, mainly due to its surprisingly low price.

What is the Escobar Folda 1 specification? Well, this smartphone is to be equipped with a 7.8-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution, with a 4: 3 aspect ratio. Inside there will be an 8-core Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 and 6 GB or 8 GB RAM LPDDR4X, a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, space for two SIM cards, as well as two cameras – one 16-megapixel and one 20-megapixel. The device's firmware will be Android 9. In addition, you will have the choice of 128 GB or 512 GB of memory, which can be expanded with the help of a microSD card.

As we have already mentioned, the price of Escobar Folda 1 is to be surprisingly low. The smartphone will cost only 349 dollars (about 1350 usd) in the version with 128 GB of memory and 499 dollars (about 1930 usd) with 512 GB of memory. For comparison, Samsung Galaxy Fold costs $ 2,000 in the US, and as much as usd 9,000 in Poland. Escobar Folda 1 can be ordered via the website of Escobara – Escobar Inc.. As a side note, it is worth mentioning that this company was founded in the 1980s to allow the Escobar cartel to launder money.

While the launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold was delayed for months due to technical problems, the opposite is to be the case with the Escobar smartphone: "My phone can't crack because I didn't have to make a glass screen like Samsung.", said Roberto Escobar. "Our screen is made of a special type of plastic and we still have the best resolution. Our special plastic is very difficult to break down. "

Escobar also praises security level supposedly guaranteed through his device. He claims that Escobar Fold 1, unlike Samsung's equipment, is incredibly safe, and this is because it is not "100 percent open to surveillance from governments around the world."

Of course, you should look at all these assurances with a grain of salt. Not only because Escobar's statements (and phone promotional materials) seem to be detached from reality. The second reason is that the Escobar Fold 1 just looks like the rebranded FlexPai from Royole, as indicated by the device specifications. We would like to remind you that FlexPai was once hailed as the first foldable smartphone on the market, but it was a device that was clearly created in a hurry, so it was of not the best quality.

Well, there is no reason to believe that Escobar Fold 1 is in any way better than FlexPaia. Therefore, I think that the folded smartphone Roberto Escobar will most likely be an ordinary sell, on which it is not worth spending even those $ 349.
