The editors of 9to5google have found in the code of the Gmail application for Android mentions of … improved label automation. If you are active users of the mail client from Google, then you probably associate the label system. The system even recognizes whether the message received is an 'offer' or something from the 'community' category.
Users can also manually filter emails by, for example, marking them with a given color. However, Google plans to streamline the whole process – labels have been found called 'travel' and 'shopping'. It seems that soon confirmation of purchased tickets or information about placed orders will be automatically assigned to the appropriate categories.
However, this is not the only change that awaits Gmail users. If you receive a message about the purchased air ticket and open it in the browser version of the client, the information about the date of departure will be placed (most likely) before the actual content of the message. This is possible thanks to the "smart mail" system – it is also to appear in the mobile version of Gmail.
It is difficult to talk about even approximate date of implementation of the above functions. Only a mention of their possible implementation was found, so it is possible that it will be long months before the news see the light of day.
