Phew …
At least that is what Philipp Weber, the person responsible for task projects at CDPR, says. He posted the information on the Cyberpunk 2077 forum as part of the Q&A post:
"Every mission in the game is done manually. For us, quality is always more important than quantity, which we could not provide using special modules to generate challenges. We don't want players to be just busy with Cyberpunk 2077 – we want them to feel that even the smallest task is worth doing. "
Weber anticipated users' questions and said that you shouldn't be afraid of the length of the game despite the gigantic manual work:
"We're creating a very large RPG in the open world. Despite our contribution to the quality of the mission, we try to create a whole lot of them so that our players can have fun for hours. "
Of course – the tasks will vary in size. Some of the side challenges will be as demanding as the ones in the story. However, we also come across very short missions like hunting for monsters known from The Witcher 3.
