Olsztyn policemen have just erected a trifle 190 charges against a 26-year-old manwho had unauthorizedly logged into his former partner's social media.
He faces up to 2 years imprisonment.
An unusual case is being conducted by the Municipal Police Headquarters in Olsztyn, to which an injured 27-year-old woman came in July. Being bitter, she complained that a stranger uses his account on one of the popular social networking sites and interferes with the content posted there. An interesting thread in the case is the fact that the woman has still not changed her account access data. The notification was received by police from the Department of Dw. with Economic Crime.
It was quickly established that the 26-year-old who was not in touch with the woman for years was responsible for publishing content and sending messages in an unauthorized manner. The man confessed to the charges against him, explaining – and how – sentiment to his ex-partner. He said by the way that he was logging into the account with a password he knew, which the woman had not changed in years.
The action of a man in the form of an unauthorized login to an account is a criminal offense – you should be aware of this. Policemen emphasize that tracking this type of perpetrator is extremely easy due to close cooperation with social network administrators.
Think twice before logging into your partner's account to verify loyalty or make a silly prank. Ah, and change your passwords – every time you break up.
